Manufacturing the valves enabling us to regulate the amount of the gas –the flame- for the household, professional and mobile cookers for over 40 years, Turaş will participate in HEFI, and meet its customers.

Turaş General Manager Aykut Can Yıldız has stressed that Turkey is one of the significant markets in the white goods sector in the world, and in this context, it is very important for the domestic and foreign producers of the sector to come together.

SUBCONTURKEY: What are the targets of Turaş for the upcoming period?

Aykut Can Yıldız: As part of our targets for 2023, we would like to invest in the countries in which the cost of energy, employment and investment is low such as Poland, Romania and Bulgaria, also called as New Europe. We plan to make investments to be close to the producers in this region, manufacture products in Europe and supply them to the customers immediately. We would like to be in that region for the competitiveness in costs and being close to the customers. Our aim is to manufacture in Europe.

SUBCONTURKEY: Could you evaluate the importance of the exhibition for the sector? What is the aim of your participation? What do you expect from the exhibition?

Aykut Can Yıldız: I think the fact that the substantial key and subsidiary industries of the sector come together and offer their innovations and products in the same platform is important for the development and alteration of the sector.

We participate in the exhibition aiming at following the innovations in the sector closer and offer our innovations.

SUBCONTURKEY: What is the contribution of HEFI 2018 to Turkey and the sector?

Aykut Can Yıldız: Turkey is one of the substantial markets in the white goods sector in the world. In this context, I think it is very important for the domestic and foreign producers of the sector to come together.
