Stating that “We think HEFI, which will be held for the first time in our country, will take place among the important exhibitions of the sector and become a significant platform that will meet us with current and potential domestic and foreign partners”, İdil Öney has indicated that Technocast put the R & D Center into use in 2017.

SUBCONTURKEY: Could you introduce your country company briefly?

İdil Öney: Founded in 2002, Technocast operates in 3 sectors which are small household appliances, automotive and medical. We started operating by producing aluminum alloy wheels rims in the sector of automotive sector in 2002. In the following years, we invested in plastic injection and continued serving the sectors of white goods and small household appliances sectors as OEM/ODM suppliers.

Starting with design and R & D in our integrated production plants, as Technocast, we serve our business partners, for whom we supply products, in the fields of production, serigraphy and assembly. The products manufactured in our plants are mainly in the groups of vacuum cleaners, preparing hot drinks and kitchenware. We manufacture products mainly for facilities in vacuum cleaner, hot beverage preparation and kitchen appliances categories.

Including the field of medical field in our investments, we started workings for producing on Endoscopy accessories production in our clean room area plants we established in Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone in 2013; and we started production producing in 2015.

As Technocast, we continue conducting our R & D and production activities in these 3 fields at 3 locations in on total 15.000 meter squares meters of indoor area in total in Çerkezköy Organized Industrial Zone. Gathering R & D and innovation works and teams in the fields of small household appliances, automotive and medical in 2017 in accordance with our strategic priorities, we put Technocast R & D Center into use.

SUBCONTURKEY: You will participate in HEFI 2018. What is your aim of participation? What do you expect from the exhibition?

İdil Öney: As Technocast, exporting in our 3 business lines is among our primary targets. We definitely follow the domestic and foreign exhibitions regarding the sectors in which we operate, as both participants and visitors.
We think HEFI, which will be held for the first time in our country, will take place among the important exhibitions of the sector and become a significant platform that will meet us with current and potential domestic and foreign partners.

SUBCONTURKEY: Could you evaluate the importance of the exhibition for the sector?

İdil Öney: Firstly, HEFI is such an important exhibition that it will gather the key industry and subsidiary industry at a the common platform. Gathering the leader brands and suppliers of the sector in the same environment will create a great synergy.

In the upcoming years, this synergy will increasingly continue with the reorganization of the exhibition, and the exhibition will take place among the leader exhibitions of the sector as a platform gathering all shareholders of the sector.

SUBCONTURKEY: Could you evaluate the contribution of HEFI 2018 to Turkey and the sector?

İdil Öney: HEFI is the first and pretty important regarding that there has been no exhibition specific for the white goods sector so far. The exhibition will bring dynamism to the sector in terms of the visitors coming from abroad and the contribution to the export.

We wish the exhibition to continue in the upcoming years with the increase in both domestic and foreign participation.
