Today, Seçil Kauçuk has manufacturing plants in Turkey&Belarus and producing rubber gaskets in four sectors such as white goods, automotive, construction and infrastructure and providing services more than 40 countries in the world. This year the company celebrating the 35th anniversary of producing quality.

Producing gaskets for fridges, washing machines, dishwashers, furnaces and drying machines, Seçil Kauçuk will meet the sector by participating in HEFI Exhibition.Seçil Kauçuk Marketing and Sales Director Timur Akarsu had answered our questions.

SUBCONTURKEY: Could you introduce your company in briefly?

Timur Akarsu: We are celebrating our 35th anniversary of producing quality.In this journey operating in our production plants established in Turkey and Belarus, currently we are a global company manufacturing and selling products and services to over 40 countries in the sectors of white goods, automotive, construction and infrastructure.

Having believed for 35 years that had two significant factors to develop the technology which are investing in person and investing in quality; Seçil Kauçuk proceeds in the vision of having branches and distributorships in many countries, and becoming a leader company designing and producing technological products with the quality certificates valid nationally and internationally.
Having one of the most developed R & D laboratories of the sector, Seçil Kauçuk Research and Development plants were approved as an R & D Center by the ministry in 2017.
The fact that the brand “Seçil” represents our country in the international arena as a Turkish brand producing quality product and service is the greatest source of pride for us. In this direction, we continue our journey of quality by focusing on development and growth. In this context, Seçil Kauçuk has various product certificates such as Ford Q1, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 27001 and ISO 14001.
In addition to that importance of the teamwork, Seçil Kauçuk has been awarded with the Kaizen price of Turkey for 2 years successively (2015 and 2016) by the Turkish Quality Association as a result of the Kaizen works of the company.

SUBCONTURKEY: You will participate in HEFI 2018 Exhibition. Could you inform us about the aim of your participation? What do you expect from the exhibition?

Timur Akarsu: In the white goods sector, our main productions are of fridges gaskets, washing machines, dishwashers, furnaces and drier machines. For this exhibition, our main targets are to observe the developments in the white goods sector which is one of the target sectors of us, introduce our products and quality, share our innovations with our customers in the same platform, and gain new customers.

SUBCONTURKEY: Could you evaluate the importance of the exhibition for the sector?

Timur Akarsu: There was no similar exhibition for the subsidiary industry companies in the white goods sector neither in Turkey nor the world. We believe the subsidiary industry companies will have the opportunity to introduce themselves better and be informed about the developments in the sector thanks to this kind of exhibition organizations.
Looking at the topic from this perspective, we think the exhibitions are one of the most effective marketing communication tools in the competitive market economies and the most efficient way to make business contacts, advertise effectively and recognize the market.

SUBCONTURKEY: Could you evaluate the contribution of HEFI 2018 Exhibition to Turkey and the sector?

Timur Akarsu: The subsidiary industry develops gradually, and the domestic production system grows in our country step by step. We think visitors from many countries will participate in the exhibition, and the exhibition will gather the potential foreign customers and domestic producers. In addition to that, we believe that HEFI 2018 Exhibition will ensure the opportunity of new markets and customers, and will contribute to the sector and export of our country positively.

SUBCONTURKEY: Would you like to add more about the exhibition?

Timur Akarsu: Considering that the exhibitions will have significant contributions to the sector and the development of the companies, we recommend this exhibition and similar ones serving the white goods sector to be reorganized periodically.
